Golf Swing Tips

Next time you head out to play golf, notice your golf swing. Is it close to perfect? Probably not, there is always room to improve your golf swing and mastering it is not an easy task. The general rule that all the golf books teach is to keep your drive off the inside of your front foot’s heel.

Most of the time you should keep that in mind but sometimes it is important to look at the positioning of your golf ball. Make sure you make a note of it the next time you take a swing. You should hit the golf ball on the upswing. Generally woods have a very low angle to the club face so they need some lift during the impact.

If you have the same problem, then you should ask a friend to watch you next time you swing. They can help you pinpoint the location where your swing bottoms out so that you can try to position the ball there. Here are some steps you can follow to finally get your perfect golf swing:

1. It is important to turn your body around to the right and then back and around to the left, without moving either way. So, in other words you have to turn from a fixed pivot.

2. You must keep your arms at full stretch during back/down swing and the follow through.

3. Your wrists should break fully back at the top of your golf swing.

4. You should try to hit the golf ball as late in your swing as possible.

5. You have to relax; relaxing is a very important part of this game. So, try to relax and not tighten up any muscle movement above the waist.

6. The golf swing should be considered as a whole swing not just different parts of it. Relax and concentrate on your whole golf swing.

So the next time you want your friends to envy you, just follow these simple steps and they will think that you are a pro. Remember the last step as it is the most important of them all. Your golf swing should flow to obtain proper results.

As long as you follow these rules, you will be good. Make sure you visit my blog regularly to get more tips and finally achieve your goal of having an unbeatable golf swing.
